One of the most important changes I made in my life to help me overcome shyness was to start exercise regularly. Before I started exercising I was massively overweight and you can imagine I felt bad about it. My self esteem was in shambles as I felt really unwell in my body.
That all changed when I started exercising.
I went to the gym and soon the kilos started dropping. I started feeling better, both physically and mentally. I am not saying you need a perfect athlete specimen to feel good about yourself but when you exercise and feel yourself getting stronger and faster every week it grows your self esteem and confidence to greater heights.
If you are not convinced of importance of exercise I dare you to try it. It might be hard but it will be worth it. You will feel better about yourself if you start exercise regularly. Go to your local gym or start running or walking in your neighborhood.
